This hood prop clip attaches to the factory holes in the passengers side fender for 1984-1996 Cherokee and Comanches. They are printed in ASA, which is a UV resistant ABS. Meaning they will not fade, they will survive in 100c or 220f heat, they are flexible enough to allow the hood prop to clip in and out many times, while remaining stiff enough to hold the hood prop in place.
I have had one of these on my XJ for multiple years without issue, so I am confident that this is the right material for the task.
