Your 1974+ Honda CT70's rear turn signal bracket is bent, broken, or just gone. The OEM bracket is old, and the part is hard to source. This CT70 rear signal mount is a 3D printed replacement. — here's what it fits and why it survives outdoors.
What it mounts
It's the turn signal bracket for the CT70, 1974 and up, with the OEM rear light.
If you're running the aftermarket short light kit instead, there's a separate mount version for the short lights — don't order the OEM version for a short-light setup, the geometry is different.
Why the stock bracket needs replacement
These brackets are from the mid-70s. They tend to break or bend if the bike falls over. The usual failure is a crack at the mounting tab. Once the tab cracks, the light sits loose and you're sourcing a 50-year-old bracket from a parts counter that may not have it.
That's the gap a 3D printed replacement fills: the part is made to the same job, in a material that's better suited to it, and it's made now instead of in 1974.
The OE part number
It's a direct replacement for Honda part number 33601-098-951. If your parts counter quotes you a bracket for that number, this is the 3D printed equivalent, made in Canada.
Why it survives where the stock one didn't
The rear of a CT70 is hot and in direct sun all season. The replacement bracket is printed to handle both:
- High overall strength for a load-bearing bracket.
- UV resistance, so it doesn't fade and go brittle in the sun.
- 100C temperature resistance for the heat cycling behind the fender.
- Easily paintable, so it can match the rest of the bike instead of sitting there as raw plastic.
I've tested it and it's very strong — but I'll say the honest line: it's not unbreakable. A bracket is a bracket, and if you drop the bike on it, physics still applies.
Before you order
Confirm two things: your CT70 is 1974 or newer, and you're running the OEM rear light (not the short light kit). If your stock bracket is cracked but still mostly intact, you can check the light against the OE number 33601-098-951 to confirm you have the same setup. If in doubt, send me a photo and I'll tell you which version you need.
More 70s Honda parts
The Honda Motorcycle collection covers CT70, ATC70, TRX70, Z50, and a few newer bikes — headlight ears, fork guides, chain guides, rubbers, and the other small parts that went out of production. The headlight ears have the same OEM and short-light version split as this mount, so check which light you're running before you order there too. Same deal across the collection: 3D printed in Canada, made to fit the factory mounting points. If the part you need doesn't exist, send me a photo and I'll figure it out.
